What is Confidential Computing?

Definition

Confidential computing is a hardware-based security approach that protects data while it is being processed. It uses specialized processor features to create isolated execution environments (enclaves) where code and data cannot be accessed — even by the host operating system, hypervisor, or cloud provider.

Why It Matters

Engram uses confidential computing to ensure that your organizational data remains private during AI processing. No one — not even Engram — can access your data while it is being analyzed.
