About
Built by Andre Wolke

Electronic engineer by training, builder by nature. 30+ years in technology — started with hardware, built networks, designed enterprise systems, and never really stopped tinkering. Still 3D-printing circuit boards for fun.
Spent the past decade and a half deep in blockchain — pioneered education programmes, introduced smart contract auditing early on, built liquidation infrastructure for crypto assets, and served as CTO across multiple ventures. Somewhere in there, a few genuine firsts happened quietly.
Now building Engram. One person, working closely with AI, turning years of seeing how organizations lose knowledge into something that actually fixes it. No large team. No VC circus. Just real engineering and a problem worth solving.
Build what should exist.
The Name
Why “Engram”?
An engram is the physical trace a memory leaves in the brain. It’s the neuroscience term for the substrate where knowledge actually lives — not the recall, not the thought, but the durable imprint itself.
Organizations have the same problem the brain solved: knowledge exists, but without a persistent trace it disappears. People leave, context evaporates, mistakes repeat. There’s no engram — no lasting imprint of what was learned.
That’s what we build. The infrastructure that turns fleeting organizational knowledge into something permanent, connected, and instantly retrievable.
Engram: your organization’s memory, made permanent.
Mission
Why Engram exists
Organizations lose knowledge every day. People leave, context disappears, mistakes repeat. The same problems get solved again and again because nobody remembers — or can find — the solution from last time.
The best companies in the world can’t answer a simple question: “What do we collectively know?” Their knowledge is trapped in email threads, Slack messages, documents nobody can find, and the heads of people who might leave tomorrow.
Engram makes institutional amnesia impossible. Every insight, every decision, every lesson learned — preserved, connected, and available to everyone who needs it. Not as a static archive, but as an active intelligence that intervenes before you repeat a mistake or miss a connection.
