What is nDSG (Swiss Data Protection Act)?

Definition

The nDSG (neues Datenschutzgesetz) is Switzerland's federal data protection act, revised and effective from September 2023. It aligns closely with the GDPR while reflecting Swiss legal principles, and governs how personal data of individuals in Switzerland is collected, processed, and stored.

Why It Matters

As a Swiss-made product, Engram is built to comply with the nDSG. Combined with GDPR compliance, this makes Engram suitable for organizations operating under both Swiss and EU data protection frameworks.
