What is Graphiti?

Definition

Graphiti is a framework for building temporal knowledge graphs that evolve over time. It provides tools for ingesting, versioning, and querying knowledge with built-in awareness of when facts were created, modified, or superseded — enabling point-in-time queries and change tracking.

Why It Matters

Engram uses Graphiti on top of Neo4j to give its knowledge graph a time dimension. This is what enables queries about how knowledge has changed — "what did we know about this client last quarter" vs. "what do we know now."
